1. Improved posture and balance

Yoga has been shown to improve balance. When you are
focused on increasing muscle strength, your posture will
possibly improve. Working out your body will help you to
align yourself properly and correct any imbalances. Plus,
you can find it easier to sit or stand in certain ways with
a greater range of motion.

2. Improved physical performance
To achieve peak performance, we must utilize the full length
of the muscle to exhibit power and strength. If muscles are
too tight, they may not be able to provide the explosiveness
necessary for a particular movement.
If you improve your versatility to make your body more
responsive you will be able to function better physically. It
is in part because the muscles perform better.

3. Greater strength
A regular stretching routine helps to provide even more
muscle development along muscle fibers and an
improved degree of flexibility, all of which offer a more
extensive range of movement, greater ability to move
our body as we wish and give us more control when we
ask for something to be done.
As you become more flexible it is important to increase
strength. This ensures that your muscles have the right
amount of tension so they're strong enough to support
you and your movements, making you more physically fit.

4. Fewer injuries
Once you develop your body's strength and flexibility you will
be able to withstand more physical stress. Plus, you can
remove any muscle imbalances from your body which will
reduce the risk of getting hurt during physical activity.
Correcting muscle imbalances involves a combination that
strengthens the underactive muscles and stretches the overactive ones.
Important Of Flexibility Exercise

1. Improve body conditions and joints
Being flexible helps to reduce soreness of muscles and
improve posture. Flexibility also improves muscular
balance and posture by realigning tissue and thereby
reducing the effort it takes to maintain good posture
throughout the day. It helps to decrease risk of injury and
improve physical performance.
Flexible joints require less energy to move through a
greater range of motion. Flexibility works towards
decreasing resistance in muscle tissue during any
activity. By doing flexibility, it will increase the
temperature of the tissues and this increases
transportation of nutrients and overall circulation.
This in turn increases the range of motion and reduces
degeneration of the joints.

2. Improve health lifestyle
Flexibility exercise helps to increase blood and
nutrients to tissues and reduce lower back pain.
It also helps to relax your muscles. The more flexible
you’re pelvic muscles, hamstrings, hip flexors, and
quadriceps, the less stress to your lower back thus it
will helps to enhance enjoyment of other exercise. In
addition to decreasing soreness and fatigue of your
muscles, flexibility also helps relax both mind and
body during any activity or exercise.

3. Improve resistance and stamina
Flexibility exercises should also be incorporated into
your normal exercise program, which may involve
resistance training and cardiovascular exercise such as
walking, jogging, swimming and cycling. By doing so, you
can improve both the quantity and quality of your
muscles, joints and overall health. That being said, yoga
is an effective way to complement your exercise routine
for greater flexibility.
Unlike most other physical exercise that work only on a
physical level, yoga involves both your mental and
physical capabilities. There is a balance of energy
between the body and the brain as well as increasing
your flexibility, toning your muscles, and improving your
lung capacity.
