Treat an online course as an
in-person class
Without the regular meetings of in-person classes, it’s easy to fall into bad habits and get behind on your work..

To avoid this,treat online classes like in-person classes by following these:
● Set a time on your calendar when you’ll “go to class.”
● Get up at the same time each day, take a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, and then “go to class.”
● Remember that you are paying to take this online course,just as you would for in-person class.
Eliminate Distractions
Without anyone sitting next to you, it’s easy to get distracted with social media, your roommates, or video games, These are some tips to help eliminate distractions:

● Find a strategy that works best for you. Some might find that they can tune out a noisy home by listening to music. Others
might choose to work from a local coffee shop or library.
● Consider turning your cell phone off to avoid losing focus
every time a text message or notification pops up.
